The massacres that took place at Tops Supermarket in Buffalo, New York and at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas have brought to the forefront the many alarming realities about America’s propensity for gun violence. To begin Gun Violence Awareness Month, Tamika D. Mallory and Mysonne “The General” speak with Ife Charles, who is the Director of People and Culture for the Center for Court Innovation, and Oresa Napper-Williams, the founder of Not Another Child. They discuss the evolution of the crisis management system, as well as their own projects that work to improve and confront the epidemic of gun violence in marginalized communities.
